Dinner with My Senior @ the Apartment

On Monday, Sze Yin came back to TARC. Huan Jin, Jodi, Vincent and I went out with her for dinner. Planned to have korean food for dinner at Ampang but everything just changed suddenly. We took LRT to KLCC and then we randomly choose a place to have dine at. We checked out San Francisco Steakhouse but nothing suites us there. We then walked to the Apartment, and we had our dinner there. The decoration there is 10 upon 10. Awesome job! Our waiter was from India and he was so cool! He speaks fluent English and from his look, I can never believe that was from India. *laugh* Anyway, his from India and I got to accept that. Here are some pictures taken there.

One Day Out

This happened a few weeks ago when Andrew, Huan Jin, Jodi, Christine and I went out to shop for our things. I could say everyone has their own thing to shop for before Chinese New Year. I wanted to get a new wallet, Christine wanted to get her shoes, Huan Jin wanted to get a shoe too and for the other two, I forgot what they wanted. So sorry. *laugh*

After buying everything, we went to Nando’s for dinner. Many things happened there.

 DSC00057

I love this sauce the most! I had a quarter of it.

This is what I had. A quarter chicken – Extra Hot! Yeah baby! Every each of us ordered soft drinks and ice lemon tea. Andrew had about 7-10 glass of ice lemon tea in like 45 minutes? The waitress were like…..’no comments’ when he kept on asking for refilling. Besides that, he also called the waitress by using a fork and raise it and asked for refilling. *laugh*

Then a disabled guy came to us by asking us to buy these key chains. I bought two of them for my parents. I gave them this already and they liked it. Yeah!

Till then.

Happy Chinese New Year 2010

Before I proceed, Happy Chinese New Year to all of you! I’m not late to wish everyone yet as Chinese New Year have not end yet. It is going to be the 15th day of Chinese New Year tomorrow mid-night. I have not blog for a long period of time already as I am always back in my hostel and when I come back home, it is time for me to rest. Besides, I use all the time that I have to be with my family.

Here are all the activities done by me during Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger. On Friday, the day before new year eve, I went to get my baby and drove it back home to my hometown. We left Sungai Buloh at around 9pm. We can actually see all the cars and all the red lights from all of the cars. Red ants for another word. Tailing all the way till we reached Ipoh. We managed to reach at Taiping at 1am.

Now. First day of Chinese New Year. As usual, we go to the temples and then visit our relatives and friends house.

Our cousin. Isn’t she cute? She hates camera. She will do anything to get away from the camera lens. Take a look at the next picture.

Taiping Lake Garden. Taiping changed a lot. Many hotels are up and the weather there changed a lot too! It’s so hot every single day there. I just can’t stand the heat there with all the new clothes I got.

Second day of Chinese New Year.

I drove back to Penang at around 11pm. Drove very quickly back as I love Penang so much! Missed all the days when I was living in Penang. The first stop was at my aunts house. I met Claudine again finally after 1 year and in my opinion, she changed a lot! She looks way better than when I was studying with her during Form 2.

IMG_4228

While driving back to Penang. Freaking hot weather makes me so lazy to drive.

IMG_4230

My aunt was born in year of the Pig. This is all her collections and every each pig here comes from different places. *laugh*

IMG_4231

After that, we went to our grandma house. I still can recognize all the roads and not being lost in Penang. I am a really good at all the roads in Penang, Perak, KL and Malacca! Yeah! Actually, it is not that good but just in a moderate manner.

IMG_4237

Grandma! I love all your foods! Where is it!

IMG_4239

I had all of this. I finished all the roasted pork. I even brought it back to KL. My mum heat it up for me whenever I want to have it.

IMG_4245

All my uncles having white wines and brandy. Just ignore their body okay. They are very nice peoples. *cheers*

Fireworks is a must every Chinese New Year. There were people saying that when the police see any of the fireworks residues anywhere in front of our house they will issue us a summon. I don’t care of that as I do play fireworks in a carefully manner and not those who play with those so called ‘meriam buloh’ till their hands are gone. Do not destroy our custom just because others could not handle the fireworks well or playing fireworks in a dangerous manner. This was taken when I was back from Penang on the second day of Chinese New Year.

 IMG_4292

Taiping Museum! I never went in there but I just need their parking place for my baby. We walked to the coffee shop from the museum. Thanks to them! *laugh* Had an awesome Malay cuisine lunch at the coffee shop.

We went to Taiping Sentral when my dad went for a drink with his school mate. Taiping Sentral is a new building around Kamunting area if I am not mistaken. Many teenagers hang out there and there is a cinema there! Not GSC and not Tanjung. I forgot what was the cinema’s name. There are many shops in there but one thing that I noticed which were absent in that mall which was a camera shop. They need one in my opinion as I am the one who needs to get into the camera shop when I was there.

IMG_4326

Sushi King was our first stop at Taiping Sentral.

Then, we moved to Kenny Rogers.

IMG_4366

IMG_4361

IMG_4357

Finally, we moved to Old Town.

After that, my dad came and pick us up. We went to our aunts house for dinner. When we reached there, we never had any as we were so full! We ate a lot when we were doing our window shopping at Taiping Sentral.

IMG_4375

Trying to be a younger person by joining all the kids by playing all those fireworks. Enjoyed playing after a long time. My uncle bought 3 of the big rockets and it looks so nice to play with it. That is not for me for this moment and I got to be like 21 years old to light those big rockets. *evil laugh*

DSC00050

Love you always mum.

While having lunch before coming back to KL.

That is all for now. Lots to come soon. Have a nice day!
