Hola! It’s going to be a post on my own adventurous trip to a place which was 8 hours past which I have never been before which is Kursk, Russia! It’s tough to go around when the people around you are not talking in the language that you are familiar with but, thank Lord that everything went fine for the entire trip. Took the train from Kurskaya Vakzal, Moscow to Kursk itself at 12.50am! Yes, a midnight train! It’s so cool that it really looked like you were at the Harry Potter train station at that moment when it was so cold with all the mist surrounding you. Here are some pictures taken at the train station.

This was taken when I was still waiting for the to announce which platform I should go to, to go onboard my train! It’s a total new world as every single announcement was made in Russian language there! Burh! It’s so important to know how to converse in their language here in Russia. But, I really do enjoy learning and conversing with them in Russian language.

Now, moving on how it really look like in the train for all the first timers out there! Truthfully, I was so worried that the condition of the train would be so bad till I couldn’t sleep throughout the 8 hours journey.

It was really comfortable as when you are on the bed, and the train is moving, you will feel like you are in the rocking baby cradle!

Kursk!

Went to the Sports Hall of Kursk State Medical University.

One of the best shopping mall in Kursk! ‘Evropa’ Went there a lot of time throughout my whole trip! It was just a simple day on my arrival day. Had breakfast at Nurul Bebby’s place. She made awesome Nasi Lemak for me with popiah! Then, I went to their sports hall to watch their own sports event, then to Evropa, then back home to cook for the whole house an awesome dinner! Hope they loved it. <3

My friend took me to this restaurant to have my brunch! Price was reasonable and the food was just awesome! It’s difficult to find good food at good price in Moscow!

As usual, I am always craving for food although I knew that I will have a heavy dinner within a few hours time! Tried ‘Zhar Pizza’!

After having some heavy tea time meal, walked along the street and came across with this church. It looks awesome and I love the bell chiming around! Felt so calm!

After that, we went to the Steak House in Kursk to celebrate.

The last day in Kursk, woke up at 7am in the morning to get to Bebby’s place and the temperature actually dropped to –4 degree Celsius at that moment. It was a real bad one as I was only wearing to layers of thin jacket. But anyway, I survived!

This Gogolia Street early in the morning! After resting a while in Bebby’s place, I went out by myself to have a free leisure time in Kursk without anyone bringing me around! Adventure!

P.S. Reached Moscow on Monday at about 5am and came back to my hostel, wash myself up, and straight went for class at 8.30am! It was tiring but the whole trip was just awesome! Thank you, Sarah, Adrian and Emily for providing me an awesome place to stay at during my whole trip over there! A big thanks to all others who were entertaining me, providing me awesome food and so on too back in Kursk!

All the best all Kursk-ian! Shall be back and we shall go to Celebrity! There were more agendas which actually happened back there which I did not write it out here but it shall stay in my heart and mind always!

When The Room Turned to Be So Cozy!

Alright. I am here again to blog. My room is so cozy and comfortable now that I can sleep throughout the whole day after putting up my curtain! My roommates and I are all like in the hibernation mood. Anyway, few days back, I talked to a friend of mine who I flew back to Malaysia with during my summer break! We talked about how crazy we were to take the risk to change our departure date back to Malaysia to the same day we sat for our exam. FYI, if we do fail that exam, we won’t be able to fly back home. Thank God, we managed to go through the exam, not only going through the exam but went through it with an excellent mark!

21st June 2011! That was the craziest day I’ve been through in Moscow! I never slept the whole night before I sat for my exam. The tension limit hit the maximum level as all sorts of questions were going through my mind at that moment. Some of the questions was,

~ What if I didn’t get through my exam?
~What will go wrong if I miss my flight?
~What will happen to me if I don’t return my books to the library?
~What will happen if there is some other documentations to handle before going back is not done?

Imagining all these sorts of questions going through my mind while I have to prepare for my exam? My dad did told me that, I was taking a big risk but well, thankfully everything went smoothly. Not forgetting the moment where my senior who is already a Doctor now, Dr. Cham, who sent me off on that day! He really solved a lot of my problems in Moscow since the day that I came to Moscow.

What did I do back in Malaysia?

Going around every places to grab awesome food was the main thing that I do during my summer break! Gained 10kg! Yeah, 10kg it is! Besides, I planned a short trip with my family to Bandung, Indonesia too! Been wanting to go to Bandung to have a look and finally I get to go there! I felt so thankful that I was born in Malaysia! As what my dad who told me when we were at Bandung, ‘It is good to come to these kind of country once a while to make you all awake’. Well, that is seriously true!

Next, it’s about the event ‘PROBASIS’ which I’ve attended under KUMOSK! One word to describe this event, AWESOME!

It was an event where we go to a school, SK Nyalas, Melaka to give them some motivational talks and to keep them preoccupied for 2 nights and at the end of the day, giving free medical check ups to all the residents of that area. We actually went to Hospital Sungai Buloh first to get some basic medical hands-on lessons before heading to Malacca on the first day. So, we left to Malacca in the morning the following day.

The first day of being in the school was just awesome! Well, most of them guessed that I am a Malay during the introduction phase. As usual, it is difficult to get close with all of the kids during the first day so it’s a little awkward during a few moments but it gets better as time passes by.

During this event, I’ve learnt a lot of things from the kids back there! Yeah, I am there to motivate them but at the same time, they, the kids, who are 10 times younger than us motivated me. My eyes were widely opened and my heart was so free to accept every single thing that I’ve experienced back then. We had breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper together for the 2 nights stay over there! During meal time, they even greet everyone to have their meals first before starting to eat.

Next, before they go to bed, they greet good night to you! I really miss the ‘salam-salaman’ part every night when I was back there in their school! I really do feel that specific feeling that I couldn’t get to experience else where.

Every morning, when the bell rings sharp at 5am, all of them will wake up right away! Yes, they really leave their beds within a minute! Less than a minute I could say! Can I do that everyday? I sincerely would say, NO. All of them will just jump of their bed and hit to the toilet to get ready for their morning prayers at the surau. I was shocked when I first saw them waking up that fast on the first morning. Because of this, I woke up at 5am throughout the event! I was amazed by their act. They were just so disciplined.

It’s kind off dark but try looking at the duration of time they took to leave their beds! *hats off*

I slept in their unit for 2 nights! They were the one who made my bed the first night after I woke up! I was seriously shocked and I did my own bed the next day itself.

During the last day, we did the medical check up for the residents there! And finally it’s time to say goodbye to them. I miss them a lot! Would also want to wish them all the best for their future undertakings!

When Life Proceeds To The Second Stage.

I’ve not been an active blogger lately as there are so many things to do instead of blogging these days. Lifestyle had been changing over the past few months. Everything got to change in order to fit to the new world out here. The last I blog was when I went back to Malaysia for my summer break and YEAH, summer break was super awesome. Not forgetting, Doctor Cham sent me off! It isn’t that I hate being in Moscow but, it’s always the best to be in your own country where everything is just there for you. It’s fun to be in Moscow but NOT for a long period.

So, how’s studies? Well, studies has been interesting always but it isn’t easy to go through all those exams which are held almost every single day. There will not be much time to do our revision on the past syllabus which we need to revise for our finals here in our University. Sleeping or hibernating time here is so limited for me. I repeat, for me only. I need time to go online, to cook, to clean my room, to Skype with my beloved one and etc.

During our last summer break, my University just changed it’s name. From Russian State Medical University, it changes into Russian National Research Medical University. The name is easy to read in English but the University name in Russian is like taking a minute or more to read the whole name.

So, the above name is my new University name. Read as ‘ Ra-sis-ki Na-tio-nal-ni Is-sle-da-va-tel-ski Me-di-sin-ski Oo-ni-ver-si-tet e-mi-ni Pi-ra-go-va ‘

Moving on to the weather here in Moscow. I really got no idea on how I survived –25 degree Celsius last time. It’s only 3 degrees now but it’s so difficult to adapt to it. It’s only autumn season now, but it seems like the autumn season will be shorter this year and winter is approaching! Winter equals to suffering. Autumn is the best season ever! Love the scenery during autumn season!

A few weeks ago, my friend from Kursk came down to Moscow for an event held in my University called The Road to Gorky Games. Met them during the PROBASIS program held back in Malaysia and I really do miss the program back then. The kids back in SK Nyalas, Melaka were just awesome! They are so different from the other kids! They made me wake up by 5am every morning when I was with them. I salute them and I bow upon them. Well disciplined kids! That is the only thing I want to say. Would also like to take this opportunity to wish them all the best in their studies!

On The Way Back for Summer Break, Amman, Jordan

I came back on the 21st June 2011. It was a rushing one but a good one though. I sat for the exam on that day itself and came back on that day itself. Everything was just smooth on that day! Thank you, Lord! So, I sat for my Biology paper on that day and I got excellent results. Was very glad. Then came back to the room to do the last minute check on my luggage and cleared my room a little. Thanks to Shana who washed my clothes back there as I don’t have time to wash them.

A doctor sent me off actually. Dr.Cham is his name together with soon to be doctor Kugan. Haha.

When I reached the airport, there was a long queue but in the end managed to wait patiently. Flight from Moscow to Amman isn’t that long as it is only a 4 hours journey. When I reached Amman, I requested for a hotel to rest since my transit hour is 7 hours. First thing was a free buffer dinner at the hotel! I get to taste Arabian food! It was delicious!

MASSAD 2011

So, what’s MASSAD? In Moscow, especially in my University, MASSAD is very active. It’s actually a program to appreciate the seniors. 6th years to be precise. This year, it is held in Korston Hotel. It’s the right place to be held at as it is near to our hostel and the hotel layout is just wonderful. I really felt like I was at First World Hotel, Genting in the first place.

It’s Time to Repent.

It’s finally Sunday. Weeks after weeks just passed in a blink of an eye. I can’t really explain my feelings right now but as far as I know, it’s not good. The answer that I need is only a yes or no but I still can’t get an answer. Everything shall be normal and the same for both answers. Trust is what we need. That is all. Anyway, last week, after attending the mass at St.Louis, I went to Starbucks to have a cup of coffee at Starbucks for free. By printing out a coupon and presenting it to the cashier at Starbucks, we will get to enjoy the freshly brewed American Coffee (tall). Yummy! Thanks to Dominic for the info about this promotion.

Starbucks is the best place to chill and forget about everything. I can visit Starbucks all the time back in Malaysia with all the various type of drinks we can have. Dishearteningly, here in Moscow, there are no Java Chip or Green Tea which I like the most. They do not have much varieties of drinks here. But still, the feeling will be there for Starbucks! I love you so much which I can just crawl into Starbucks everyday!

My second cup of Starbucks here in Moscow. Going for more soon! My coffee overflowed as I added milk into it. The cup became dirty but still, it’s Starbucks! Nothing can beat you down! I live to drink coffee! It’s bad for health but I don’t really care. Live life as happy as we want to. Do whatever we want. I believe in this statement where it stated that, ‘ We do not have to do what 99.9% of people does’. Just stick to your own route.

Those are a few pictures on the interior design of Starbucks here in Moscow. I seldom go out nowadays as I got lots to catch up in my studies. Besides, I don’t get enough rest during the weekdays so, it’s better to stay back in my dorm to rest. Shall update more soon. There are lots to blog about but time just flies here. Time is so precious which I have to spend them wisely.

Welcome Back Darren!

It has been some time that I’ve last posted up a new post on my poor little blog here. And now, it’s time to make this blog to go back to it’s original pathway. Well, life in Moscow is great actually but there is nothing perfect isn’t? I’m not going to touch anything about the cons anymore as it’s so sensitive so those people over here. Things go from mouth to mouth with the speed of light over here. Scary isn’t? It’s freaking scary. Anyway, I just don’t want to waste my time thinking about that anymore. My cell group has thought me to CHANGE and NOT TO LOOK BACK! AMEN! Yeah, that’s freaking true. Praise the Lord. He is the one who sent me to this track and I know, there is something that he wants me to learn over here.

I’ve got no idea on whether any of you watched a video on Facebook where the pastor said, ‘ The new F word in this church is FORGIVE’. So, FORGIVE everyone. And, sorry to all those who I’ve hurt them since I was born into this tiny complicated world. Forgive me please. The two main chapters which really woke me up was CHANGE and NOT TO LOOK BACK.

Spring is here in Moscow but the weather is kind of weird over here as it has been snowing on and off for the pass few days. This made me feel that it’s not spring yet and maybe, I wouldn’t get a chance to enjoy spring too. I saw grasses growing by the road while walking to my university a week ago and now, it’s covered with snow again. On the other hand, I still prefer this weather as when the temperature changed to 4 degrees the other day, I felt like I’m back in Malaysia. I could even sweat at 4 degrees now! Am I going to sweat like waterfall when I’m back in Malaysia? Hopefully not.

I’ll be back in Malaysia this coming July and I managed to go to the airline office to confirm my ticket alone! I’m glad that I never get lost or didn’t manage to send the message that I wanted which is to confirm my flight ticket to the person in-charged at the office. Besides, I get to have a free sight seeing of a new place in Moscow. It’s Fruzenskaya. It’s had evening market over there and a Orthodox church too!

While I was walking, I saw lots and lots of strawberries. So I just get myself 500 grams of it. It’s sweet!

This was the Orthodox Church that I am talking about. As usual, I went in the church and I saw the ladies putting on their ‘tudung’s’ and I was shocked as I thought I‘ve entered a mosque but in the end, when I uploaded this picture on Facebook, my senior told me that it was an Orthodox Church. Lucky me.

After confirming my flight and the sight seeing part, I went for a short metro-hopping session. Metro hopping is when you stop at a metro station, get out from the station and have a look at a new surrounding. So, I stopped at Okhotny Ryad. I found a street with a few high class restaurants to dine in at. Not only that, as one of the restaurant was a Chinese Restaurant! I’m so going to dine in there some day! It’s going to be great. And here is a picture of it.

After that I went back to my hostel.

Verdict? I’m happy that I can study here. I’ll just do my very best to obtain enough knowledge to be informative enough in the future. There were some arguments last time over here but I did not look back into it anymore. I’ll just grow to be a better person as time passes by.

Hello again! It has been a while since I posted a new post on my blog. Sorry about that as I am going through lots of ups and down every single day. Nothing is as simple as we think. Winter break is over two weeks ago and YEAH, I did the right decision which is to go back to Malaysia during that period of time. It was really worth it. Being with my family for a month and I also get to meet my Pre-U and my secondary school friends really made my day.

These pictures was taken back at The Curve with Aron,Samuel and Vincent. Sorry that I didn’t take a photo with you Shang Yie. Shall take more photos when I’m back for my summer break. Dishearteningly, I have to go through a real tough journey before summer break would come. Ahh, why here? Why coming to Russia? Why being is this sick room? and Why am I stuck with this sick people here? All kind of questions.

I would start my day at 3am every single day if possible and I will start it with a cup of hot Nescafe. Coffee is a must to drink for me every single day and I think I am addicted to it already. No worries as I am trying to control my coffee intake right now. Coffee is not good for our health anyway. Being up at 3am is just so peaceful where the whole atmosphere is quiet. It will just be me with some soft musics, my coffee and my breakfast. It became my routine since I came back to Moscow as this is the only time where I can have my own privacy. Not only that, I could also have a real calm and peaceful atmosphere to study. People from the next unit can just come into my room to SLEEP or to watch movie till midnight is just so stupid. As though as there is no bed at their own room. So sad.

I’ll just admit this. I hate being here right now in Moscow. Moscow is treating me well and not forgetting those awesome Russian people here. They are just so nice if you get to know them. But, everything has it’s on cons. So there will be some cold Russians here too. The verdict for me is that Russians are just so cool to be with. Back to the main point, some of our own people are just so F-up-ed right here. We are here to study and not to enjoy life so much. Just because of them skipping class to do their own business back in hostel, the class just got canceled. What am I suppose to do? Just don’t go for the class because of you? Not going for lectures but attendance are taken for those who did that is just so common here. This is what Malaysian government should look at right now. This is also a concrete reason on why Malaysian government pinpointed at graduates who are from Russia. ‘Спасибо большоe’ to all of you.

I’m still thinking of another way to get out of this F-uped life here in Moscow and YES I have a few ideas already and it will be done soon. To all the parents out there, you can send your children for medical studies here in Russia just that you should know what are they doing here every single day. The lectures and lecturers here are good! Besides, medical studies is not all about attending lectures and sit for exams but you must also do some research on the Internet.

Two days ago was Men’s Day! I got this from my cell group and thanks to all C2 girls who did this for the men. Thanks a lot and the muffin just tasted so delicious.

This Should Not Happen.

Finally I have time to blog back in Malaysia. It’s nice to be back here as everything is just here for me. Food? Anytime. Transportation? No problem at all. Sports? Whenever I want to. There isn’t any problem to get anything I want back here. The only thing I can’t get here is the cold and lovely weather that I can feel back in Moscow. Well, everything in Moscow is just awesome same goes to Malaysia!

I won’t be blogging on those foods that will make you drool throughout my food hunt back in Malaysia. Don’t worry. I had too much till my tummy has bloated up. This is bad, real bad. It’s not good to stuff so much food into your own lovely and wonderful stomach. It might explode one day. *laugh*

Okay, back to the main point. Yesterday which is on the 24th of January 2011, at 4.32pm back in Moscow, there was an explosion at the largest airport in Moscow. This is thought to be done by some suicide bomber from somewhere. The explosion happened at the luggage claiming area at the arrival hall. I just don’t get it on why must they do this? Most Malaysians including me myself depart from and arrive at that particular airport, Domodedovo Airport when we go back to Malaysia or come back to Moscow to continue our studies. Thankfully, no Malaysians was affected due to that explosion although some of my friends were there when that explosion took place. Thank God for that.

The security back in the airport has been tightened. For me, I hope my luggage will be screened without any problem when I’m back there. Hope my ‘bak gua’ won’t be confiscated by the airport customs.

Treating the patients. Till now, there are 35 people killed and more than 100 people injured. The number of death count is about to increase as time passes by. R.I.P. for those victims due to this explosion.

The beautiful airport with all the happy faces of every each person who will be travelling out of Moscow or even reaching back to Moscow changed to the other extreme right away. I just can’t imagine how it would look like when I go back there in a few weeks time. It will be totally different for sure if compared to the picture I get when I first step my feet on Moscow’s soil or the time I departed from the airport back to Malaysia.

Look at all the innocent people who lost their life due to one or a few persons act.

A requiem was made for the victims of the attack at the airport itself.

The last bombing occurred at two busiest metro station already took away so many people’s life and now this happen again. The next FIFA World Cup will be held there in Russia. I hope everything will just go smoothly. Again, R.I.P. to all the victims of yesterday’s explosion. Condolences to all the victims family.

Hard Rock Cafe, Moscow.

Well, Kugan planned a food hunt at Hard Rock Café two days ago. It was awesome! A few of M1 and M2 students gather up there to have dinner. The food was awesome. Ambience of the whole Hard Rock Café is just so wonderful and I really enjoyed myself there although I did spent a big sum of money there but, living in this world, we have to pamper ourselves sometimes. We will not know what can happen tomorrow. So, enjoy!

Hozen and I reached Hard Rock Café earlier as we went there straight from Kievskaya. So, we went to the bar to have a drink first. I had this drink called Sex On The Beach. It tasted great as it also cost 290 Rubles. Daddy, sorry yea. I spend a lot this time. Shall control my expenditure real soon.

As I said, the dinner was superb! Everything was just great that night and actually, we wanted to have sushi for supper but there were no seats for us so we went off. Looking forward for more meet ups which I’ll spend more.

2 days ago, I went out with Benedict to Metropolis. Well, Metropolis is a place where you can get branded stuff like Pavillion but still, Pavillion can't beat Metropolis down. Girls will just love going to Metropolis to shop but cash is the main problem. It’s winter season now, so, WINTER SALES! All prices drop down like mad. 30% up to 70%! Isn’t this awesome?! Dishearteningly, guys outfits are kind of expensive to me but I got myself something in the end! <3 Will wear it for Chinese New Year back in Malaysia. Besides, I’m going to continue shopping for new stuff back in Malaysia.

So, as you know me, I hunt for food wherever I go and I had my lunch at this awesome shop at Metropolis where you choose a plate from small to medium to big. Then you can take how much of food you want and put it on the plate. It’s like a buffet but with space restriction. We can’t make them overflow. Therefore, we have to be good in logistic! Arrange them! Different sizes of plates are at different prices. Mine was 205 Rubles.

Those were the pictures outside of Metropolis. Had a wonderful time there and thanks to my parents for everything. Without them, I wouldn’t have the chance to enjoy my life here in Moscow! That’s all for the first day.

The second day! We tried to be extreme. We includes Benedict and me. I told Benedict that we leave hostel at 8.30am to Izmaylovskaya Park to get some souvenirs for my family back in Malaysia. So yeah, he agreed and we went there early. This was the first destination of the day!

Was taken right after buying everything that I wanted to bring back to Malaysia.

Izmaylovskaya Park is a great place to shop and the scenery there is awesome too! The bad part is that, this place is located at the Northern site of Moscow. So, the temperature is way lower and it is freaking cold! Every time being there I’ll just say this is the Northern site of Moscow and it’s COLD! If I’m not wrong it was below –15 degree Celsius when I was there.

Later on, we headed to the European Mall! Our second destination of the day! Another awesome mall but we both, Benedict and I, didn’t get anything from that mall as everything was expensive although it was on sales. It’s a real high class shopping mall but nothing amazed me here. There are 5 entrance to get into this mall and the weird thing is they have a floor called, 0 floor. 0,1,2 and 3 floor. They don’t called them lower ground, ground, first floor and so on but they called them in the number form. 0 floor! Awesome!

It’s just so pretty to be there but I was a bit sad as everything was expensive to me there.

Now, outside the European Mall. As you can see, there are Christmas trees everywhere and it’s not 25th anymore. Why? This is because, Russians celebrate their Christmas on the 7th of January. Not only that, because of this agenda, I get one week of holidays! Thank you! Muacks!

This is a popular station where many lines are joined here. So, where to right now? We headed to Arbat Street! We won’t come to an end so fast as you can see, I haven’t eat anything yet since I went to Izmaylovskaya Park and European Mall. Where we had our lunch then?

Arbatskaya! The third and last destination of the day! Arbat is popular for it’s street. Like Jalan Bukit Bintang! Full with high class restaurants and souvenir shops. I haven’t been there yet since I came to Moscow and this was my first time. Without a map or any guidance, I reached safely! Thank you Lord.

Russia, Russia and Russia! That was going around my mind 3 months ago before I came to Moscow when I was still in Malaysia! 3 months! YES, 3 months just pass like that. Well, Moscow is a cool place to be at and you have to budget yourself a lot! You can spend hundreds per month or sometimes thousands! It’s crazy.

Culture shock? NO. Too cold? Survived when it hit –20 degree Celsius. Language barrier? Basic Russian language and hand language made me survived till now. Nothing is impossible. Trust me. When people can do it, you can do it too! Just trust yourself. <3 Be strong and STAY strong. Always and it is a must. Then nothing can beat you down. Stay up on the ladder always or even climb back up to the ladder quick enough when we slipped down the ladder.

2010 Comes To An End Already.

2010 is just an awesome year for me. Being in TARC, Oasis and now in RSMU. I love my life! The ups and downs of my life is just simply amazing. The downs can never make me stay down all the time. Being up on my ladder is the main purpose of my life. Why living in this wonderful world sadly all the time? Talking bad about people and so on. No purpose at all and as what I know, I’m doing things for everyone’s good and it’s not for me only. As if I need fame like others do, I got no time to think of that for god sake. Moderate and simple and happy life would do!

I miss my friends back in all the schools I’ve attended. You guys made my day always. If you would be in my shoes now, you will know why you will appreciate those friends back there in Malaysia. Seriously! Anyway, don’t want to talk about these things right now. It’s hours away to the new 2011! We have to be prepared for it and enjoy till the max! SKY IS THE LIMIT! Owh yea! I’ m going for a wonderful trip with my seniors later to enjoy the countdown spirit here in Moscow.

For those back in Malaysia, I always love you guys and Happy New Year! Make sure you enjoy it till the max as this only happens once a year! 2010 to 2011 will only occur once in a lifetime! Enjoy till the max!

Christmas Eve Mass at St.Louis and Dinner at TGIF.

Before moving on further, I would like to wish all of you out there Merry Christmas and enjoy it till the max. Sky is the limit. It’s a real White Christmas here as it’s snowing and hailing all the time. –7 degree Celsius all the way yesterday night and YEAH, it’s freezing cold.

Okay, 24th December 2010, my first Christmas eve in Moscow, at about 4pm I went over to Dorm 39 to pass some gifts that I bought for my friends and hope they liked it. Especially to the special one. But, I guess it isn’t the right and suitable gift for that person as I don’t get to know that particular person well yet before buying it! BFF! <3 Besides that, my group 14A had a party back in my neighbor’s room but I couldn’t go for it as I need to attend my Christmas Eve mass. Sorry but I guess all of them had fun!

At about 4.40pm we pushed off from Dorm 39. Prayed for a safe journey to St.Louis as it’s not really safe to travel around in Moscow right now because of certain reasons. Anyway pictures are coming up! Here they are.

This is Benedict and me! Taken before leaving Dorm 39. There are some group pictures in Kugan’s DSLR but I haven’t get the pictures yet. When it’s with me, I’ll upload them up on my Facebook. Then, on the way getting to the Konkova Metro Station, there was a bad traffic so we got down and walk all the way to the station. It hailed heavily and it was cold. Freezing cold. Anyway, we survived.

Christmas Atmosphere!

Hi! I’m back again. It’s going to be a very short post. Shall update on it more. Well, yesterday, which is on the 19th of December 2010, my cell group, C1 conducted a Thanksgiving Dinner. It was awesome and I enjoyed it till the max. Sky is the limit.

Well, this was taken before the whole dinner agenda started. Shall update on the dinner more soon.

On the other hand, I didn’t get to plan and manage my time well since I have lots to do, and I dropped down from the sky today. I have a credit test for my Philosophy subject and I screwed the whole thing up. This is my fault and I’ll climb up the ladder again! Was really frustrated as this was my first time failing a paper and I’ll have to take the test again next week. Hope for the best. Aja aja fighting! Hope for the best.

P.S. A very tough week ahead as I’m going to have this Philosophy test, Anatomy colloq on muscles and my Chemistry control.

It’s Just A Matter of Time

Well, it’s me blogging again in the middle of the night with no lights except my table lamp and Martin’s table lamp is switched on AND pointing upwards. Songs playing at the background just made me having the mood to blog now. Sounded emo? I might sound emo but I’m not going to be emo! Emo-ness sucks at times and I hate it! Go away! Looking at the Christmas tree right on the right hand side of me at the corner of my table just made me happier! I just can’t wait for Christmas to come as the atmosphere will be totally different.

It’s just a matter of time and it’s time to set it free and yeah, I’ll set it free with an open heart. No hard feelings. Neither, me wanting it to feel bad or hurt. Hope for the best for you as always! I’ll always care and be right here no matter what happen. *hugs*

Went to the cell group today and I learnt a lot on being a good leader. Read this!

Had Chick Kut Teh for dinner and I like it very much! I’ll serve in the F&B group for C1. I guess some of the members knew about it already. Look up for great foods! We are all LEADERS and it’s just a matter of time to bring up yourself to be one!

Find a way to solve that problem if it does annoys you all the time as nothing is impossible and we tend to hurt some people. But, I don’t give a ‘tut’ on those as I can’t please everyone’s heart.

After being here in Moscow for about two and a half month, 7kg of my whole body mass is gone! I’m still eating like what I used to do back in Malaysia but I’m losing weight drastically. Something fishy is going on. Why guys tend to lose weight here and vice versa for the ladies? I’m taking even more meals nowadays so that I could maintain my weight now but it’s still dropping. Well, forget about it. As long as I’m still healthy here, I’ll just enjoy my life here! <3

It’s been a while since the last post isn’t? Sorry anyway as time just passes so fast since I was here in Moscow. Being here isn’t that tough but as usual, there will be ups and downs in our lives. Stay strong!

For you guys out there, you might be thinking, what is Interbatch? Interbatch is where all years including 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th year to compete in a few sports. Isn’t that awesome? It was really fun actually and I was in the so called ‘netball’ team. Netball is not a cool game for me and YES, it isn’t to all my team members too. I hate it when they say 4 feet! 4 feet! Boring and lame. Anyway, enjoyed ourselves. The main thing of this event is? TO ENJOY for sure.

This shows how much I, Chen Dar Ren, supported MASSAD! Actually, I did bought some others things there too! Hope you are happy, Kugan!

So, the Interbatch went on from 8.30am till 11.00pm. Sad. It was a tiring day but it was full with enjoyment! We actually won the whole interbatch but due to some ‘certain reasons’ 9 marks was deducted from 1st years. *cry* We went down all the way to the 4th place. Anyway, we are still the winners for the Interbatch in our hearts as we did our best down there and we are one big family! <3

Friday! And YES! It’s a holiday for M2 only. So it’s time to go out and enjoy! I won’t write much on this post but yeah, pictures will explain everything! This trip was fun but something pop up where I have to travel back all the way to my hostel to open a single door for my roommates as they never bring their keys out. Anyway, forget about it. Live life till the max isn’t? We have to enjoy everything we do!

Well, it’s the 5th of November already today. It’s 1.11am now and ‘Something About Love’ by David Archuleta is playing on MIXFM ~ Malaysia! Love listening to Malaysia radio stations! When it comes to radio stations, I miss driving as I listen to the radio whenever I hit the gas! Anyway, let’s have fun! It’s Deepavali today!

I went to Semiramis near my hostel before Deepavali till Deepavali starts for a tea session with some of my friends. Wished Happy Deepavali to all of them before and after 12am too! The atmosphere at that moment was just so nice! Thanks for all who came for it too! Photos!

Different People, Different Thinking

Hi again all the way from Moscow, Russia. It’s currently 12.10am and YES, why am I not sleeping yet? It’s a public holiday tomorrow here and I’m enjoying the night all by myself and chat with someone really close with me right now. Friends are just so important to us always AND as humans are not perfect, people tend to make mistakes.

Before moving on, I just missed my life back in TARC which was like problem-free every single lovely day! I’ve chatted with some of my TARC friends and we talked about the life we went through together during the whole 1.5 years there. It was AWESOME! I could still remember those moment when we went for our dinner at the canteen or TBR, then pool session and those yam cha session. It was totally different if you would compare friends back in TARC and here.

Back to the story, some people would just love to get into problems of the others and YES, it’s so irritating to me. Matured? Yeah, solving problems in those ways are matured. Talking bad about someone’s parent? Just get the hell out of here man! Think before acting. They just don’t listen to what you say or suggest and what they do or think is correct. Hmmm, whatever is the word.

One question, Facebook is for everyone and who are you to stop me from posting up my status there? I can post up anything I want. Besides, if you are so matured, you don’t have to find problems when I post up something which hurts you right? I want my Malaysia friends to know on what is happening here. If you feel that you are the one that I’m talking about on my status, I’m so sorry because it is true and I’m not lying! My best friends know me very well and without you guys, I won’t die. I’m adapting here well and don’t worry to all my friends back there in Malaysia or even here in Moscow!

Hi people! It’s been a long time since I’ve last blogged. I hope it’s not dead yet too! Russia! Russia! Russia! Moscow has been good to me so far and I love it so much! Я люблю Россию! That means, I love Russia. How to read it? Simple. *laugh* ‘ia lyublyoo russee’. Lectures here are cool and classes are super awesome too! I like it!

Friend’s Night, Moscow 2010

A day which I enjoyed the most in Moscow where I could meet all my best buddies from MMA instead of the others. The event started at about 5pm but we reached there at 6pm due to the traffic jam. On that day, I actually woke up at 12pm and that made about half a day gone without doing anything but….SLEEPING! Yes, sleeping is the best thing to do always, isn’t? Anyway, let’s see what happened there.

Moscow!

21st September 2010 was the first day I stepped my foot on Moscow’s soil! Everything is different for sure such as the language, the cars, roads, breeze and most importantly the climate here! It has been cold until now and it’s difficult to sweat here unless we walk faster. There are many happy and sad moments throughout the period of me being here in Moscow but I did managed to get through those obstacles well. Thanks to my family back there in Malaysia and all my friends who were concern about me during that period of time.

Back to the main purpose of blogging tonight. It’s 10.56pm currently and the temperature outside is 1.2 degree Celsius. Let the pictures explain everything from now with some captions beneath it.

Last Moment Back in Malaysia

Just didn’t noticed that the time just ran over me just like that. Those few weeks are like a few days only to me. Well, it’s time to go and pursue my studies for a better future. Hope for the best when I’m there and pray that everything will be fine back here in Malaysia. Will definitely come back next year during my winter break. Farewells here and there…planning here and there…Will you be coming? Whatsoever. Everything is just over right now and thanks to all my friends out there for the attending those farewells, giving me moral support and ‘stuffs’. *laugh*

I’ll be leaving tomorrow which is on the 20th of September 2010. Will take this opportunity to wish Silvia, my Hong Kong friend a Happy Birthday before tomorrow comes since I will not have much time to do these stuff by then. Take care, Silvia if you are reading this. About the flight…hope it will be a pleasant one and no delays! I hate delays!

Moving on, will be washing my Vios tomorrow for the last time. Hope it will stay the same when I’m back next year and maintain the same smell it has right now too! Getting a new car next year would sounds good too! XD. Going for a swim, a basketball and cycling session tomorrow before departing. Anyway, all the best to all my friends out there and to all my blog readers! Continue visiting my blog as usual! Farewell With My TARC Friends Final Part! :)

On the 8th of September, I went to The Curve instead of 1 Utama since I went there for the first farewell with some of my friends on the 7th of September. Suprisingly, Penny, Samuel and Aron reached there earlier and I was on time. Actually, I was there early too since the time to meet is at 1pm. Well we went around The Curve to find ‘that someone’ at Starbucks but we couldn’t find HIM. No fate to meet then. Since we can’t find HIM we then went to Tony Romas to have our lunch. Waited there for others to come and Ken get to find the place at last. He arrived safely! Others reached safely too in the end! Just love talking with them. VERY OPEN is the word! Woots. Wen Yie did ask me one question and my answer is YES. But, I still can’t figure out why she asked me that question. *laugh*

Farewell with My TARC Friends Part 1.

On the 7th of Sept, I went to 1 Utama to meet a part of my TARC friends. Yeah, it does sound like I have a lot of friends but it isn’t that many of them actually. Glad to know most of them could turn up on that day and guess what…. Shang Yie came for the farewell too! Awww……so touched. Well, we went to Sushi Zanmai to have our lunch and that was the first time, me, dining there. People could que up for hours just to have their meal there and for me, it’s for nothing. I could get better Sushi some other place. Woots! Kura Japanese Restaurant at One World Hotel is the best so far for me! I’ll stop condemning here now. Pictures! Here they are.

That was all the food I had there. Shared all of that with Shang Yie my cute little friend. So gonna miss her real soon! Keep in touch always my lovely pal! Hope you are reading this since you closed your FB account and your blog already. It’s so difficult to contact you in other ways except by calling you or chatting with you on MSN.

Malacca Again!

So, I persuaded my dad to go to Malacca a lot of times already but he was busy on most of the weekends nowadays. Well, since 27th of August is a holiday for my dad, I asked him to take a drive down to Malacca for me to get a taste of the food there for the last time till July 2011. I’ll definitely go back there right away when I’m back here in Malaysia.

We went for lunch at a street located right behind Jonker Street. We had Wan Tan Mee and Prawn Noodles. It was tasty! I like it! *laugh*

This was the first time my baby was driven in Malacca. Will miss you a lot soon!

The Wan Tan Mee we had was a little bit unique where it’s spicy and there are not black soy sauce. Tasty too!

A supposed to be Prawn Noodles but it ended up to be something else which I didn’t really enjoyed it. RM 3 each for the meal and RM2.50 for the cendol. After that, I asked my dad to bring me to Seafarer Restaurant Malacca as I could go down to the beach there. It’s called Pantai Klebang. Dishearteningly, a part of the beach, reclamation land is happening widely but luckily, it didn’t block anything at the Seafarer Restaurant. Here are some pictures taken there.

After that, we headed back to the Holiday Inn Hotel area.

This project is a failure. It has also made Holiday Inn’s view bad!

Was supposed to put a night here but I told my dad that Malacca is very near to our place. So, saved the cash for hotel and spent them on food!

Eyes on Malaysia!

I get to remember what happened here at the McD. When Samuel, Aron and I was super thirsty when we were in Malacca, we shared a cup of soft drink here! I really missed those moments! I did went back to the hostel that we stayed in for 3 days 2 nights! After that, we drove over to Pulau Melaka and it was another failure project. The whole island was deserted. Have a look.

As I was walking to the fried oyster stall, I saw this place where Samuel, Aron and I had Malacca Bak Kut Teh here when it was raining heavily! That was the most memorable trip to Malacca ever!

I did found out something new at Jonker Street which is this Tornado Potato! Never give it a try because I was super full at that moment. Gained 2kg after this trip. Sad.

Dad bought some Nyonya kuih for me. After that I drove them back home. Love Malaysia’s food always! Will try to come back every year for the next 6 years!

Pre-Departure Briefing and FOOD

On Sunday, 22nd of August 2010, I went to Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur to attend the pre-departure briefing. Well, it started of well but it was like a little hanging at some parts of the whole event. Planning isn’t that perfect yet but overall, it’s okay. So, speech by some of the people including a third year student from RSMU. Yes, I’m leaving to Russia for my studies and RSMU will be my University for the next 6 years. Finally it’s out on my blog. (: The event started at about 3.15pm. Met all of my friends who are going there with me such as, Jay a.k.a.Gay, Soon Fei, Martin who will be my roommate, Yy Ling, Curry and so on. Lots of them were there on that day.

Moving on, the third year student said something about the syllabus medium there and that was the moment where most of the parents mouth were widely opened. That was the moment I’ve enjoyed too! Well, I would like to say that, nothing will be perfect. Going to other countries to pursue our studies, we will still need to learn something in their own language and isn’t this fun at the same time challenging? We as a student will get to learn the language fast and YES I agree with what the third year student from RSMU said which sounds like this. ‘Our lecturers are old and do not expect them to learn English in a sudden’. That is definitely and absolutely true! Why do I say that? First of all, we are the younger generations and I do believe that we can handle Russian Language easier compared to all our soon-to-be knowledgeable lecturers to learn English since most of us are going for Medical Studies which wouldn’t be that simple to get through it. As we have the will to do it, nothing can stop us. That is the only thing I could say right now. Although everything is stated clearly that my batch syllabus will all be taught in English, I still do think that some subjects MIGHT be taught in Russian. Most importantly, I’m keen to learn about it and I’m not afraid of it because many of my seniors went through it without complaining.

Hostels there are a little bit worst compared to my TARC hostel but life still have to go on. We should be happy that we could be under a shelter compared to those unfortunate people out there who don’t even have a place to live at. Think positively. My parents were aware about all of this because I did have have a few Q&A sessions with all my seniors there and I told my parents every single thing that I knew about RSMU. We as a student, who is going there to further our studies should try to step out into the real world and try to get every single information we need ourselves since we knew that we are going there ALONE without your parents. Being there, you wouldn’t be spoon fed anymore.Why do I say so? This is simply because Pre-U life is roughly the same with the University life and I bet that University life will be even more challenging compared to the life I had through the one and a half year in TARC.

The best thing about this pre-departure briefing was we did not get a firm date on when we are departing to Moscow. Sad case. Just forget about it and let’s enjoy our life back here in Malaysia for another few more weeks. Right after the briefing, my parents and I went to hunt for some food. We went to a street right behind Jalan Alor for food again! What we had? Have a look!

Having a meal back in an alley is the best thing to do! The weirdest thing was I went there with my formal attire and I was soaking wet because there wasn’t a single breeze there. As some of my friends knew about it, my forehead suffers from Hyperhidrosis. Will not explain it here so just google up on it.

It was a bomb! Love the taste! Yummy!

Beef Wan Tan Mee, I guess….^^ Nice! It came with the beef soup too.

Finally I had pork intestine porridge in KL! In the middle of the town! This was great but I still prefer the one served in Penang. Going to have this in Penang very soon! So keen to get back there this time.

Beef Noodles! This is good too but can’t break the bonding I had with the one served in my club. Bukit Rahman Putra Club. Go to that club if you want to have Beef Noodles. FYI, it’s only served during the weekends! You will not regret driving all the way to the club to have this Beef Noodles!

Dad did ordered drumstick! Nice! Soft and tender! So, where to get it? Start your car engines now and drive to Bukit Bintang. Hit the street behind Jalan Alor. You will be able to find it there.

Durian Buffet, SS2!

Well, I went to Old Klang Road to pass my highest certificate to my consultant yesterday in the afternoon and THANKS to Yvonne who showed me a super short way to get there. I saved a lot of fuel for the last 2 weeks of the language class. Owe her one meal. Wait, one meal isn’t enough for her I guess since I see her standing by the foods during our pre-departure briefing on Sunday. SCARY is the word. ^^

I will blog about the pre-departure briefing soon but let’s don’t talk about the word DEPARTURE yet. FOOD is a must to talk about right now. I will cross SS2 every single day on the way to class and back from my class. Temptations of having Durians will be there ever single time I cross that place. YESTERDAY, I went there with my mum to have DURIAN BUFFET. Yes, Durian Buffet. This is my first time having Durian Buffet and I do think that it’s a little crazy to have durians in such a huge amount. Want to have a look at the stall? Here it is.

Durians? Nice? Yeah, it’s nice. The provide you only Kampung Durians for the buffet session and FYI buffets are only for from Mondays to Fridays. Yummy is the word to describe this Durian Buffet.

I will not be able to get this after September till I’m back on July 2011. So going to miss Malaysia a lot! The word a lot here I do mean it like x100000000…. times of a lot!

While enjoying my Durians. My mum and I had 4 of it and we can’t take it anymore. Now, it’s the time to drink more water so that I could have all the Penang food soon. Going there by early of September and going to Malacca this week. My aim is to have a good taste of all the foods there before leaving my foot off Malaysia’s soil.

For some of you out there, you would say….cheh, so little. Some of you will be like, OMG! xD

After that, we went to 1 Utama to hunt for some of my necessities. I’m like 70% done packing right now. There is this happy feeling and sad feeling too. Sigh.

Surely A Must To Miss Memories.

Today, I woke up about 8am and as usual I’ll have a cup of tea for my breakfast. YES, that is all I’ll have for breakfast. Without revising back for my exam, I just get myself ready and drove to Oasis College which is located about 30 minutes drive from my house after Yvonne showed me an alternative route. When I reached Oasis College, my heart beats like it’s going to burst through my sternum. I got no idea whether I’m prepared for the paper or not but I did my best for the particular exam. It’s the last exam for me to sit for in Malaysia for 2010 and I hope it would be a good one. When I went up to the class, Jay a.k.a. Gay-Jay was there already and he made my heart beat even worst. I will never do a study group with him as he make me go blur. Besides, while waiting for the exam to start, the fluorescent light burnt and smokes came out from it. Is it Argon gas? It does smell like some Chinese traditional medicine. Anyway, nothing bad happened and everything went on well. About the exam, I finished it within 15 minutes and YES, I never checked what I did. So there will surely be some mistakes in it but I don’t care about what I’m going to get. I will never ever fail that paper and my results will not be THAT bad. Jay asked me to treat him if I get lower marks compared to him…I hope I did well though. ^^

After exam, I drove off to TARC instead without knowing a road to get there. Besides, before this I didn’t planned to go back to TARC for my results statement as I planned to join some of my college friends for a karaoke session at Times Square. I changed my mind because I just missed TARC too much which overcomes my keen feeling to go to Times Square at that particular moment. Back to the journey to TARC, I just aim for Dataran Merdeka as I know how to get to TARC by using Jalan Pahang. So, yeah. I did managed to get to TARC safely and fast. When I reached TARC, it really took my breath away. It is like a two different world if you would compare my current college with TARC. I just missed everything in TARC. The canteen, the badminton court, the lecture halls ( but not K block ), the students there and most importantly the OLYMPIC SIZED SWIMMING POOL! Lovely is the word.

When I stepped my foot at TARC today, I instantly went to my Pre-U block to get my results statement. It’s freaking hot when I reached there. I met Yean Teng and Jia Le when I first reached there and then Yuen Sang came. After receiving my results statement, we then went to Wangsa Walk Mall to have our lunch. 5 of us went there. Arthur went with us too! It’s been a long time since I’ve ever met him. We went to A&W for our lunch. I ordered Waffle and Root beer as usual. Shared the waffle with Yean Teng as I can’t finish it up. Had an awesome chat with each other and when it’s about 1.20pm, we went back to TARC and before that, we sent Yean Teng off to the LRT station.

After that, I went to DK E to have a look at the ceremony. Had a nice chat with all my pals and my lecturers. Just missed them so much! I just noticed that I really do miss my TARC life after joining for my language class. Pictures!

Lastly, to our pretty Physics lecturer, Ms.Hwang. Thanks for all your guidance too in Physics. Unfortunately, I get to love Physics during Sem 3 but it’s not too late as I am getting better in Physics now. Jason did helped me a lot too! Same goes to Ms.Tam who is my Physics tutorial lecturer.

So, after taking those photos I wanted to leave already but then Ms.Hwang did pull me into the lecture hall but I sneaked out again as it was kind of late already. It was a real tiring day for me as I stressed out myself because of the language exam the night before. All the best to all the current Pre-U students in TARC and never ever give up. Struggle all the way! You will never have any time to be playful when you really have the wisdom to do your best in A-levels. Ahh, speaking through experience? Yes! It was a tough journey all the way for the past one and a half years there for me but I did went through it well. I also did enjoyed the ups and downs I went through during that period of time. My results isn’t a bizarre one but I’m satisfied with it. Anyway, I shall be going back to TARC again next week and that would be the last time to go back there.

First of all, I would love to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends out there, Selamat Berpuasa. Let’s continue right now. Every single year, when it comes to the fasting month, the only thing that I could think of is the food. Wait! Don’t think something ridiculous that fast, okay? I do love the Malay culture back in Malaysia also. I will always attend at least one Raya Open House every year because I love going there to have a look at the Malay culture face-to-face. By looking at the Malay families wearing their Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung is just so lovely. Not forgetting, most of the families has a common colour of attire to wear during Raya. Isn’t that unique to you guys? It is for me and YES it does happen for Chinese and Indians too. You can hardly see this scenario when you’re out from Malaysia especially at the European country. I will be going to miss my country soil right after Raya because I’m flying to somewhere that I should be at to further my studies.

Now, as I do love food a lot, it’s time to blog about some of the foods that I love to grab during the fasting month. What do you think about Malay cuisine? Ratings from 0-10. For me, all races food in Malaysia, I would rate them 10 upon 10. So, one question might come across your mind right now which is, ‘What cuisine you will not rate them 10 upon 10?’. There is some cuisine which I never rate them 10 upon 10. One of is it the Korean cuisine. OMG. I can’t believe I spit this out. Sze Yin will definitely kill me right after she read about this. I shall be prepared for it now. Don’t blame me as every each humankind in this lovely, wonderful and delightful world has their own likes and dislikes. So, this would be one of the thing I dislike. Today! What’s for dinner? Bought lots of food from the bazaar near my house and FYI, whenever I go there, it would be best if I could buy all the foods sold there. Dishearteningly, I couldn’t put much input to myself nowadays.

Just ignore the guy there. Look at all the stalls there! Look at the people! Just so lively!

Being at the bazaar makes me so happy and cheerful all the time. To get some attention from the customers, the stall keepers will just shout on the foods they are selling here and there and this just make the surroundings so different. This is Malaysia! Besides, by going to the bazaar you can also actually see many Chinese and Indians there too! This is One Malaysia! No more words to comment about this as I’m just too happy and delightful to be a Malaysian.

Back to the foods! Argh! I just can’t wait for this moment. Prepare some stuff to munch right in front of you right now before looking at all the pictures.

Satay is a must to buy whenever I go to the bazaar. It’s only RM0.30 per stick! Can you imagine that? It tasted good!

Murtabak Ayam! Saliva dripping on the floor right now. Just joking. Just that I’m drooling all the way right now as I haven’t have my dinner yet.

The title explains everything about my feelings I guess. Well, A-levels results was released yesterday and at first I’m quite satisfied with it but at times, I do felt unsatisfied because I really did pushed myself a lot throughout the whole one and a half years there in TARC. My family, friends and even lecturers tried to talk with me about it and YES it does help a while but the same feelings just comes to me which makes me down all the way. By getting a confirmation letter by my soon-to-be University will never be a matter for me to be proud of. I did met the minimum requirements to get into the University which I applied for and actually it’s better than the minimum requirements. Still I’m not going to be proud of this situation but I’ll assure that I’m going to do my very best ‘there’.

Anyway, A-levels agenda is just going into my history book and it DID changed the way I think of my studying life. It made me clear of what I’m doing and being away from the thick mist I was in when I first stepped foot in TARC. Talking about TARC, I just missed my life there with all my super cool friends which will always be right beside me whenever I am down or HAPPY! By looking back to my post on my blog when I was back in TARC, makes me laugh, smiled widely or even drop some tears. What a memorable time with them. Vice versa for the college I’m attending now which makes me feel so down whenever Sunday reaches and makes me feel so excited when it is Thursday. It’s not my language lecturer, Ms.Kum Kum ( her nickname ) fault but it’s the environment there which makes me feel so indolent to wake up and drive there. I love learning the language that I’m studying now but to master the grammar is just so horrible but I know I will be able to handle it as the time passes by.

Back to my TARC life without going through my thinking yet, I heard that there were 2 new juniors being in my ex-room, H111! I just loved that room and wished to sneak in there once more before I leave Malaysia after Raya. My first ever roommate was just so cool although there are some problems going on at first :) and my second roommate, my classmate was just ssoooo….nice too! They both were just so helpful and YEAH, one word to describe them….WONDERFUL roommates! I’m just so lucky to have them to be my roommates. Problems when I was in the hostel wasn’t a problem anymore because of them! Thanks again to them!

Finally, the word depart means to leave in the simple way of explaining it. I know I’m being very lame now but just ignore me for just once. My friends are leaving to somewhere else which they are deserved to be at one by one right now. Would love to say CONGRATULATIONS to them here right now. All the best! For me, as I stated at the second paragraph, I’ll be leaving to somewhere I supposed to be at right after Raya which is around in the middle of September. Where am I leaving to? I’ll just post it up here later on but not now because it isn’t the right time to say out loud to all of you. Hard feelings to leave my lovely country, Malaysia and it’s going to be tough for me to step out from my country’s soil. It’s just going to be so difficult. I’ll definitely miss my family back here, my friends and of course, THE FOODS in Malaysia. I will never forget all those mouth watering food served in Malaysia.

Listening to songs just rejoices me up when I’m down!

P.S. I love my Pre-U life. Not forgetting my kindergarten, primary school and secondary school life! They were just an awesome journey till I reach my Pre-U life! Miss all of my friends back then!

Bingxiong’s Farewell.

Well, I went to Sunway Pyramid to meet my ex-roommate, Bingxiong after bringing my mum to the post office on Monday. We were supposed to meet at 10am but I couldn’t make it and kept on delaying the time. Finally I get to reach there at 11.30am due to the traffic jam on LDP Highway. In the end, I got only 1 hour to talk with him but at least I could meet him before he leave to Indonesia for his medical studies. Will be calling him Dr.Ong after five and a half years! Anyway, glad to know that he will be back during the raya break. By then, it would be my farewell already. I will be leaving Malaysia after Raya and YES I get to enjoy the raya foods back here in Malaysia before leaving to ‘the somewhere’. Most of you know where I’m heading to already but I shall keep it away from my blog till a week before I leave.

Still wondering who is Bingxiong? Here he is! Future doctor okay! Don’t play play!

Will always remember those moments we shared in hostel when you have questions on Physics and I have questions on Biology. Just missed those moments!

Jia Le and Yuen Sang was there too. Unfortunately, Yuen Sang doesn’t want to be in the photo but I will explain to you on how he looked when we met. He put on his formal wear and looked like a professional guy. That was my first ever time seeing him with formal wear. No more DOTA KING look. Before leaving for my language class, I called Yy Ling on the direction to get back to Federal Highway from Sunway Pyramid. She made me blur by saying all those flyovers. Luckily, Yuen Sang brought his laptop so I google-d map the road and got back to class on time!

Langkawi 2010 Day 3

It’s finally the third day of our trip and it means that this would be our last day here. Will so going to miss this trip a lot when I’m there. Thanks to Jason, Jia Le, Samuel and Aron for joining me for this wonderful trip. Owh right, before I forget, we actually went for the banana boat ride which was super fun! I dropped 3 times only! The only thing is, it’s difficult to get back up on the banana boat. Hmmph…I know why. ^^

I never show any pictures on our room. It’s cool and unique but surprisingly, I manage to sleep well! It cost RM230 for 2 nights. Here are a few photos of the room.

First two pictures would be the toilet. The last picture would be our messy room. We get to add 2 single beds for free and we were so happy at that moment as we wanted to spend our cash on other things rather than spending it on a room. Overall, I would rate this room at 4.5/5 points as the beach is right in front of it. You can have anything there within walking distance!

The car we rented! The same colour but different model. Anyway, the car was covered by lots of sand and if were to be my car, I’m so going to break down and cry. *laugh*

After everyone packed their things, we drove to the cable car area and on the way, we stopped at this stall for our breakfast. Actually not this stall but a stall right beside it.

This only cost RM4 with my teh ais! The beef rendang was superb! Tasted very nice! I love Malaysian food and without chinese food, I still can survive! Woots!

I’m so tan! That was the view while eating right behind me. After that, we went to Sheraton Langkawi as Jason and Samuel have something to do there. Here is one picture of the view from the hotel. The beach there isn’t that great compared to the one at Pantai Cenang!

Then off we went to the cable car area. Tension! I have phobia for cable cars but I just want to have a look at the view up there so, I just made myself brave a little while and get up there. ^^

I still can’t trust this small box which is hanging on a rope could bring us up there. Sigh. I can never overcome this phobia but I still be daring enough to go on it!

The view up at Platform 1! I reached up there safely and glad to know about that. It has been my second time being up there. Although it’s really hot up there, the scenery just take my breath away!

Some people just don’t read the notice. Smoking is apart of their life. Can’t blame them, huh?

The suspension bridge! Awesome design! I would praise the one who invented this and built it. I couldn’t think of any idea on how to build this suspension bridge!

After that, we went down to Telaga Tujuh. I can hardly catch my breath when I hiked up there just for the waterfall but it was worth it!

It’s nice to be up there but it ain’t fun to hike up here. So I did work out back there in Langkawi! An intense one!

When we went down, we had coconut water to kill our thirst. By that time, we were like 3-4 hours till our flight back home to KL. So, we went to Perdana Quay to kill those time. Here are the pictures taken there. Let the pictures explain everything from now.

I wanted to be tanned till the max before going back to KL. You will looked how tanned am I in the next photos.

We went in there to kill our time even more as we can’t be burning ourselves under the sun for so long.

Love those concave and convex mirrors there. Reminded me about Physics that I tend to be interested at during the last sem of A-levels.

Think out of the box and be creative! Isn’t that right? Hmmm, we boys do silly things…So do the girls right? When it was about time, we drove back to the airport but before that, we had our last lunch at Langkawi! Where? As usual, we had our lunch at those shops by the road!

Everyone had the same thing! Laksa and cendol pulut! Yummy is the word! Then off we went back to the airport and get ready to get back. I changed my cloth as it was a little dirty already same goes to Samuel and Aron.

Langkawi International Airport isn’t that big but I do think it’s still better than some airports at those rural areas.

I managed to get a free upgrade to the premium seat! Aron was behind me sitting at the normal seats. Muahaha. Sad….

What did I bought back to KL? CHOYA is a must for me and some chocolates for my family and some of my friend. Overall, I spent about RM700 for the whole trip including the air-fare. The whole trip was so fun thanks to four of my friends. Without you guys out there, it wouldn’t be fun at all. Hope for more trips to come and I’m thinking of having a trip with you guys every single year since I went to Malacca last year with Samuel and Aron and YES it was fun!
