Welcome back! Sorry for not blogging a while as I’m having my language class 4 days a week which makes me feel like I’m dead person whenever I reach my home sweet home. So, on the second day back there in Langkawi, we planned to have a look at the sunrise at Langkawi. I woke up at around 5am and started to wake up my friends one by one. Jason being a pig never wanted to follow us so, Jia Le, Aron, Samuel and I was the only one who went for the sunrise viewing session. When everyone was done, it was late already so we just went to Awana Porto Malai area to try our luck to have a look at the sunrise. The actual plan was to go to Pantai Kok to enjoy the view of the sunrise but we did not have enough time to drive there. Here are some photos taken there.
The dead Langkawi street at about 6am.
Reached our destination on time!
Look at how dark was it at that time. The atmosphere there was superb!
We knew that we were at the wrong place to enjoy the sunrise moments but we never miss to take those awesome photos there. For more of these photos go to my Facebook profile to have a look at them.
Jia Le and I enjoying the atmosphere there! I’m starting to miss the days where I’m in Langkawi now. Then, we went back to Pantai Cenang street to have our breakfast. While having our breakfast, we called Jason out for breakfast. When he was ready, I drove back there to pick him up as the hotel/motel that we stayed was a little far to the place where we had our breakfast.
Taken before being super tanned.
My breakfast which cost RM1.50 only.
My super huge teh tarik which cost RM1 only.
Where to have breakfast at Langkawi? Come here!
Jia Le and me myself on the boat.
While leaving from the Jetty.
Who is our boat driver? Here he is. Rock till the max! Now are some pictures of the environment there throughout the Mangrove Tour. We paid RM250 for the whole private boat.
Look at the sun ray. Awesome! Here are some photos taken during the eagle feeding part. The way they attract the eagles there was just so unique. You shall try it out yourself next time when you are there.
After the eagle feeding part, we went to the Gua Buaya. It is called Gua Buaya because the shape of the cave is the same as the opening of the crocodile mouth and as you enter inside, it will look like the stomach of the crocodile. There aren’t any crocodile there but as usual, there’ll be bats there.
While coming out from Gua Buaya and now, we went to Gua Kelawar. When we reach this place, it was raining heavily so we started to get wet.
Samuel and I at the entrance of Gua Kelawar. It cost RM1 per person to enter here.
Aron and I at the entrance area.
Look how dark is it in there and we are not supposed to use our flash but I still use my flash once to get a picture for all of you.
All the bats! Ewww!!! Luckily they never poop on us. ^^
Taken after coming out from the cave.
Here is a group photo taken by a girl. Thanks!
You need to bend down to enter if you are tall. We all managed to get through it without crawling.
Soaking wet! It was freezing! What a nice experience there. Natural rain. It’s really feels different to be under the rain compared to those in KL.
Then, we went to this place called Hole In The Wall. It sounds wrong but this place is so cool! You get to feed a few types of fishes there. The entrance fee is RM5 per boat. It’s cheap! They do provide free shuttle from Kilim’s Jetty if you want to dine there at the restaurant. Everything will be fresh and you’ll be guaranteed satisfied. This concludes the Mangrove Tour.
We then headed to the jetty for our lunch. We had KFC.
We then went to the hot spot in Langkawi. It’s a must go for everyone.
Aron and myself by the beach on the second day evening.
This bar is so cool where it’s by the beach and the songs played are up to date! Wonderful!
Another sunset picture which was taken on the second day.
The night approaches and we did BBQ some food for dinner. We noticed that it is not enough so we went to the shop by out hotel/motel to order some food. I had bee hoon goreng. They also ordered squid fried with all those spices. Tasted delicious! Then, we had our Corona while BBQ-ing.
After finished having our dinner, we had Heineken by the beach while enjoying the land breeze there. It’s so calm which turn our bad mood around. I so wanna go there again next year!
Till then for the third day post.
