Langkawi 2010 Day 1

Woke up as early as 4am to get ready to go to the airport. I had two slices of pizzas and a cup of coffee before leaving home. Left home at 5am and reached LCCT right on time at 6am. As usual, my friends will be a little late or very late. After about 10 to 20 minutes, Samuel and Aron reached the airport. Then we checked in first while Jason and Jia Le checked in themselves when they arrived at the airport.

The food sold in the plane isn’t worth it to me at all unless I’m earning US Dollar per month.

The flight air hostess. Sometimes, I just can’t get what are they announcing during the flight. They are like mumbling instead of speaking.

Here are some of the sunrise pictures from the sky! Enjoy!

Look at the sunrise reflection on the sea! It’s worth it waking up at 4am for this.

As we reach Langkawi International Airport, we rented Vios for the 3 days trip which cost only RM200 for the whole trip. Then we went straight to Pantai Cenang for breakfast.

My first breakfast in Langkawi at The Tomato Nasi Kandar!

After having our breakfast, we then went around Pantai Cenang area to look for some hotels. We ended up to be staying at this hotel or motel without a name as it is okay to us. The whole stay only cost RM230 for five person for 3 days 2 night. Super cheap! The hotel that I booked at Kuah Town never even called me so I just didn’t care about it.

The lovely beach, Pantai Cenang at Langkawi. After checking in, we went out for lunch at Kuah Town.

Then we went to the cable car area after lunch. Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance for 2 days. So we planned to go for it on the last day of our trip before coming back to KL. After that, we drove down to the Harbour Park or also known as the Perdana Quay to try out the russian food there.

We ordered two main course. One of it is the beef cooked with onions and the other one is fish mackerel. The fish mackerel tasted good as the fish is grilled and cheese are spread above it. Lovely. This two main course cost RM62. Then we drove back to our hotel to enjoy the beach and the sunset scenery.

The night approaches. So, we then went for dinner after our bath.

 IMG_3386 IMG_3387 IMG_3388

We had this 3 dishes for dinner which cost about RM30 for the whole meal.

IMG_3391

We wanted to stay here but it was fully book. The hotel looks very nice from the outside.

IMG_3399

After dinner, we drove down to Awana Porto Malai to have a look. The dining area was so romantic. After that we went straight back to our hotels and we drank our beers that we bough from Kuah Town.

 IMG_3402

I drank Tuborg the first night which only cost RM1.70 per can. The price is about the same with all the soft drinks sold there so it’s better to drink beer there. After that, I went to bed while Jason and Jia Le continued drinking. Then Samuel and Aron was the first to sleep without drinking. We discussed on what to do the next day and we planned to enjoy the sunrise view. So, I set my alarm at 5am. Will continue blogging on day 2 in the next post.

Till then!
